Composer Paula Foley Tillen honored

Now and then a talented composer goes quietly about composing fine works, and not living in the world of hype. It's a glorious day when a quality person such as this is finally celebrated with long overdue recognition. I am speaking of Milwaukee's Paula Foley Tillen, a gifted composer and pianist who I am proud to know as a friend. This weekend the Milwaukee Choral Artists directed by Sharon Hansen will honor Paula with a program filled almost entirely with her great music. You can read Tom Strini's excellent article here.

If you don't know Paula's choral music- you should! It is intelligent, lyrical, and everything else we are all looking for in new scores. Please check out her music published by Santa Barbara Music Press and other quality publishers.

You can catch the Milwaukee Choral Artists FB page here.
